People should vote for the policies, not the candidates.

The candidates lie.

Does high IQ allow any kind of brain lie-dar?

What we really need is a small group or party to serve as a vanguard for the American people to lead Americans into a glorious future. A party whose patriotism , wisdom and vision would be unchallenged as a matter of course.

Now give yourself a cookie if you know who first proposed this wonderful idea.

Horrible idea. Who designs the test? You realize even the Stanford IQ test has its flaws?

It isn't IQ for voting you are after but IQ for running for office. Had we had such limits the likes of W would never have been seen, well guess it would have given the family another item to try to cover over.

I think for voting we don't need the IQ test but rather a comprehension test regarding the issues. Is it to much to ask people to be informed?

We test kids regularly but people we let ride after 18... shouldn't education be a national priority for all ages? why do we think anyone is beyond being responsible for learning?

No.

A Constitutional test, yes.

And take the Party designation out of the election box.

People should know the issues.

Otherwise, we get more Al Green's.

I would agree with a knowledge based test. The problem is not intelligence, but willful ignorance. That would mean that people would have to actually get their facts from someone other than Fox news and Rush Limbaugh.

I don't like them. I think they do not properly assess someones ability to reason as needed in such a situation. I have scored in a wide range of results from them ranging from average to far above Mensa level.

There is no consistency in their evaluation, nor is there any reasonable means to establish an appropriate level of measure.
