the group reserved 1,637 room nights in the hotel during the event period last year.
So I guess fiscal conservatives believe it's ok to reserve over a thousand rooms, cancel it, and not have to pay if the hotel, a private business, loses all that money.

That sounds like Communism to me.

So is common sense.

No services were rendered.

Nobody skipped out on a bill.

I believe that a cancellation fee was paid, however.

So why are they getting sued for over a half a million dollars? For kicks?

What are the details of the contract between the hotel and the Tea Party? I reserve and cancel hotel rooms all the time, cancellation fees all depend on the contract you have with the hotel when you make the reservation.

Because people get sued every day, are you saying that when someone gets sued they're automatically guilty of something? Are you really trying to make that type of claim?

I've never worked in a hotel before, but I'm pretty sure that there are some fees for canceling over 1,000 rooms.

You reserved and canceled over 1,000 rooms? Wow, sounds like a high roller to me.

So you started a thread based on conjecture?

Sounds like you are judging people based on your opinion of them, without really knowing the facts.

Sounds prejudiced to me.

Way to go!
