I don't think the lesbians are making the argument that they cannot "do as they wish" by law.
They are asking DOLLYWood (Dolly Parton is not a homophobe, and Dollywood is not supposed to be a Redneck version of Disney) to understand that their customers come in all shapes and sizes and types.
They are also making the point that religious conservative "families" don't have a monopoly on what a FAMILY is.

That's a pretty dumb response. BTW, just so we can avoid more embarassment of the armchair civil rights lawyers and constitutional scholars here on City-Data understand, a theme park is a "public accomodation," and even though PRIVATELY OWNED, they CANNOT wantonly discriminate "if they want to."
Not saying that's what happened here, but there certainly seems to be this off belief in America that businesses that serve the general public have the power to do what they want, when they want. They do not.
If you're going to try to score cheap points about supposed "doublestandards," be prepared when people point out that you're obviously not "GETTING IT." Again, NOT SUPRISING, because you would obviously prefer to cast any stones you can, and avoid critical thinking.
If you can't discuss this w/o some modicum of maturity,
it seems you'd be better off skipping this thread.
But don't let me tell you how not to expose your poor conversational skills.

Is public accommodation featured anywhere other than the civil rights act and ADA? Because those laws do not include sexual orientation as a protected class.

Hmmm... let me fix that for ya:
