Republicans say, 100% our way or no way! We are willing to let the country default for the first time in the history of the US if we have to.

Actually it's the dimwits in the democratic party that is unwilling to stop blowing money we don't have, and refuse anything even close to a real budget. Not only that, but the debt ceiling deal is an unwarranted political coward move by the moron stinking up the Whitehouse. He flat refused to discuss spending cuts unless he gets to raisde the debt ceiling another 4 TRILLION dollars after already raising the debt from 10.2 trillion when he took office to the now 14.2 trillion... Since it has been 2 years of worst than drunken sailor blowing of money, the repubs in my opinion haven't been tough enough on obama and the looney democrats.

Nice way to avoid the topic . I forgot you guys don't like facts, only theory.

Bush:

1. Two Wars - 1.5 trillion
2. Non-Defense Discretionary Spending - 0.6 trillion
3. Tarp & Other Bailouts - 0.4 trillion
4. Medicare Drug Benefit - 0.2 trillion
5. 2008 Economic Stimulus Act - 0.8 trillion
6. Two Tax Cuts for the top 2% - 2 trillion

Keep in mind this was the first time we went to war and didn't raise taxes. Also, during the end of Bush's presidency we were in a free fall.

Obama:

1. Stimulus - 0.7 trillion
2. Stimulus Tax Cuts - 0.4 trillion
3. Non-Defense Discretionary Spending - 0.3 trillion
4. Health Reform and Entitlement - 0.15 trillion

Who controls the educational systems of the US? How's that mediocrity working out for ya? Your "party of education" is a joke with no rock to hide under. When Liberal education brings this country back into the forefront of world education, maybe people will listen.

Until then, education is a horrible example to use.

How do you compromise a balqnced budget with big government socialist again?

Democrats were willing to cut entitlement programs in exchange for tax revenue increases, but no.
Love to see Democrats show evidence of that anywhere.

Democrats than were willing to a spending cut only bill, as long as they didn't touch entitlement programs, but no.

Republicans say, 100% our way or no way! We are willing to let the country default for the first time in the history of the US if we have to.
The Republicans are the only grown ups wanting to end debt using a balanced budget amendment.

Where is the compromise to that end again?

I guarantee you if Republican were willing to increase tax revenues, it would have passed.

Please tell me one thing in this debate where Republicans have compromised with Democrats?

Here is a truth...the magic the Kenyan Communist had in 2008 has evaporated. The Tea Party is controlling events.

Balance the Budget. No more entitlements to illegal aliens. Blacks have been on welfare since 1865. End welfare. Stop funding the murder of babies. .

Stop funding Kenya. Obama's Home country.

lol...the murder of babies? I find it funny how Republicans think a fetus that wouldn't survive if it were not attached to it's host is more important than a born child. As soon as it actually becomes a real baby, POOF no more support.

I guess you forgot that under the EIGHT years of the Clinton Administration, welfare rates went to their lowest level EVER, while during the Bush Administration, welfare rates skyrocketed.

And where did you get you figures from? I suppose the highest debt ceiling raise is still a result of Bush?

In the first 19 months of the Obama administration, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan.

- President Bush expanded the federal budget by a historic $700 billion through 2008. President Obama would add another $1 trillion.

- President Bush began a string of expensive financial bailouts. President Obama is accelerating that course.

- President Bush created a Medicare drug entitlement that will cost an estimated $800 billion in its first decade. President Obama has proposed a $634 billion down payment on a new government health care fund.

- President Bush increased federal education spending 58 percent faster than inflation. President Obama would double it.

- President Bush became the first President to spend 3 percent of GDP on federal antipoverty programs. President Obama has already increased this spending by 20 percent.

- President Bush tilted the income tax burden more toward upper-income taxpayers. President Obama would continue that trend.

- President Bush presided over a $2.5 trillion increase in the public debt through 2008. Setting aside 2009 (for which Presidents Bush and Obama share responsibility for an additional $2.6 trillion in public debt), President Obama’s budget would add $4.9 trillion in public debt from the beginning of 2010 through 2016.

Obama spent $84M on the stimulus website, and the website had to be revamped less than a year later at a cost of $32M... $100+ million on a website.

I build websites for a living. Google, Amazon and Ebay started on less than $100M COMBINED!

Apple now has more cash than the US government. $70B in cash, that's the equivalent of just 9 days revenue. The US gov takes in $200B+ each month.

What will it take to wake the walking dead up?
