How is it resolved??? The debt ceiling is raised and they really haven't proposed enough cuts to get the spending back on track. When will it stop? Even with the agreement made yesterday the stock market tanked. That hope you have is just an illusion...I seriously doubt anything is going to change soon.

I lol'd at the the title. Its a misnomer and complete schism from reality.

Republicans control a little more than half of one chamber of Congress and Tea partiers even have less influence, yet Dems compromise on trillions of spending cuts with no closing of tax loopholes, ending corporate welfare, or ending the Bush tax cuts which are a significant cause of this mess.

Heck, Dems couldn't even get one revenue increase passed in the negotiations. They got ssteamrolled by the loud, albeit fringe group: the Tea Party.

Exactly. They just kicked the can down the road and people think they resolved something. This crisis will be back again in 2013 if not sooner.
