So much for everybody sacrificing. We get to pay for the orator to roll around the country destroying more business. Hell he's been given a 2.4 trillion dollar boost to his campaign fund in his eyes. He is after all the president as was so eloquently said in the article.

"(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama’s upcoming bus tour through the Midwest states typically viewed as swing states during presidential election years will be paid for by the taxpayers, the White House says. Obama will start the tour on Aug. 15 and will talk about strengthening jobs and the economy, the White House announced on Tuesday.
“He is very happily getting out into the country again after a very sustained period here in Washington and he looks forward to talking to folks about growing the economy, creating jobs," said White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. "We will have more details, as I said, about the specifics of the trip."

Not to mention his 35K a plate birthday bash. Yep it must be rough being one of the orator's rich buddies.

Lightbulb An impromptu House fundraiser?

No time like the present to make cuts. Since Obama's decided to ride the bus perhaps the House can auction off AirForce One and Marine One to pay down the debt? Certainly the Commander-in-Chief can show "shared sacrifice" with the cuts for the military by giving up his ride first can he not?

Why a bus? Shouldn't he be riding in a Government Motors Volt?

But how long would it take him in a Volt?

I have to agree with you about the sale of his flying machines.

Obama is such a hypocritical, self serving joke of a POTUS.

It appears after watching Palin's bus tour he'll just ride around on the taxpayer dollar to do a little campaigning. Those commercials get expensive towards the end. I don't think he's figured out a way for the taxpayers to pay for his commercials yet.

Did you complain when President Bush used AF1 for campaign stops in 2004?
