Maureen Dowd of the New York Times speaks about the Tea Party
Her names for them may not be as vicious and nasty as many others from the left side of things but she does a great job of lefty name calling.

Most politicians in Washington, especially those who are media regulars use this kind of name calling.
I call the TEA party obstructionists. Its a fair name, yes some of their members are loons, but most aren't I can say the same thing about liberals and Democrats.

As pointed out here:
"Maureen Dowd’s reaction in the NYT to the debt deal is about as level headed as one might expect from her, which is to say, it’s entirely emotional. overwrought and unhinged. And pointless."
"Dowd is so flighty and unserious she can’t even stick to a single monster metaphor. She’s just flinging Halloween goop at the walls hoping something will stick...And the alleged “paper of record” deems it all worthy of publication. We’re supposed to reason with and negotiate with such people about the fate of the nation?"

She should have a talk with this guy...
Tea Party Congressman | Terrorist Label | Jeff Landry | The Daily Caller
Quote:
“Let’s think about it: In my lifetime, I have created jobs and I have paid taxes in the private sector and I have helped move our economy forward,” Landry remarked.
“What have they done? You’ve still got above 9 percent unemployment, we’re running record deficits and on Tuesday the president signed the largest increase of United States debt in history,” he continued. “Now, you tell me who’s terrorizing the country?”

That is, if she can hold a thought in reality.

Yeah. I'd say that's right on par with her words about the TP:
"They were like cannibals, eating their own party and leaders alive. They were like vampires, draining the country’s reputation, credit rating and compassion. They were like zombies, relentlessly and mindlessly coming back again and again to assault their unnerved victims, Boehner and President Obama. They were like the metallic beasts in “Alien” flashing mouths of teeth inside other mouths of teeth, bursting out of Boehner’s stomach every time he came to a bouquet of microphones."
