So what? The mass population is stupid, just read these forums and then look at who we elected for confirmation.

What does polls have to do with the debt? Ooh, Obamas polls are better, so the debt isnt that bad?

Little is the key word. You seem fixed on nibbling around the edges than attacking the real problem. By the left's own account eliminating tax cuts may bring in $1 trillion over 10 years. We are running deficits of $1.4 trillion. The time for class warfare is over. We need real, serious and deep cuts in spending.

2 crapholes? How easily the world forgets. Do you not recall 9/11? The Taliban? Terrorism? Certain Middle Eastern nations and groups who have pledged to destroy Israel and the United States? And now we are abandoning our efforts there... Who knows what will happen next...

Right... because Democrats have always been the party of fiscal conservatism.

Obama Rates Higher Than Boehner, Reid on Debt Situation

President Obama - Approved 41%

John Boehner - Approved 31%

Also slightly more independents approved of President Obama's handling of the debt ceiling than John Boehner by a 35% to 31% margin.

Wow 31%!

The time for games has ended. 800 plus days without a budget. It is time for Reid to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation and present a serious budget.

I agree. Time everyone in Congress, and especially the Prez, needs to stop with the sound-byte rhetoric and finger pointing.

We all know the only reason the DEMs kept saying the GOP wanted to take away grandma's SS and Medicare was to scare the hell outta people, while at the same time, making themselves look like the "saviors" in this deal.

GOP are fiscal conservatives and the last thing they want is their SS checks diminished, lol. THat was a totally political move on Pelosi and Reid's part, to give them an excuse for not passing any of the bills the House sent them.

Time for the BS to stop. If entitlements have to be cut, then it has to be something that EVERY CONGRESSMAN AND THE PRESIDENT must do.

No "good guys and bad guys" in this situation . . . it has to be everyone moving forward w/ measured consideration and sincere purpose towards getting a budget in place that reduces debt.

Do you know that the law was illegally proposed and illegally passed without the Tea Party people you want thrown out of the House voting for it. How in hell is it their fault when they didn't defeat that law? No answer, I bet.
Are you saying that they didn't vote? Why do you think that it was illegally proposed and illegally passed???
