So there are more dems than repubs and it's the repubs fault? How do you figure that? all the repubs could have voted no....but the majority IS DEMS....
Huh? There are 287 Republicans in Congress and 244 Democrats.
How exactly are there more Democrats than Republicans in Congress? Are you speaking only about the Senate? In which case, yes there are 4 more Democrats, which isn't a Super Majority, and Republicans can filibuster.
Spending cuts
No fighting over silly things like the debt ceiling
Revenue increases
entitlement reforms
etc.
But no where in the report do they say revenue increases should be comprised of tax increases, but thats what lefties are saying.

They did not. They took aim at the failure to address spending cuts, something the Tea Partiers are calling for. In fact they validated the tea parties position. Re-read the report, in specific the reasons why they might downgrade the credit ratings again. 100% of that is the exact same position the tea partiers hold

Mentioning items arent budget proposals. If the president was so supportive of these reforms, why didnt his budget proposal implement them? Democrats DID NOT want cuts, they wanted FUTURE cuts, and the S&P wanted cuts NOW. In fact they wanted MORE cuts, not imaginary cuts in future spending, but REAL cuts.
No it is not implicit there is an explicit statutory guarantee for benefits if you meet qualifications. Now that can be repealed or changed, but such guarantee exists and it is explicit.
No such guarantee now exists for Social Security, validated by Supreme Court decisions. You thinking that the guarantee exists, validates my argument about GSA's. Everyone assumes the government will save GSA's, save Social Security, etc.

And S & P laughed at the entire group.
The only reason they're even talking about deficits before all of this downgrade stuff was because of that crazy fringe group TEA party that doesn't even exist, remember?

42 USC 7 says you are wrong. Now the Congress can change its mind about any guarantee it likes but an explicit guaratee exists for SSA. It does not exist for GSEs except for certain exceptions like Ginnie Mae.

The House comprises most of those, but the House is only 50% of all of Congress. Having most of them in the House, does not mean a GOP Congress because the Senate holds the other 50%... Where on gods earth did you guys go to school?

You should really learn how your former government worked.
You do seem to know how the current uni-government works though.

The Super School of Condensation.
Funny how they're always the ones harping on tin-foil hatted Tea party people who complain of one world government coming and then they summarily defend a super congress that disenfranchises the vast majority of the country effectively making a government without checks and balances.
