Until the IMF and China tell us they won't loan us anymore money without an austerity scheme. You know...like Greece. And even then its doubtful our leaders will agree to something.

Excellent point. That day is probably not so far away. Will people riot here like they did in Greece and other countries when they don't get food stamps or housing subsidies?
When the corporate sponsors and special interests have more important things to spend their money on than politicians, then they'll do something about it.
Let's ask Bill Clinton and Al Gore! They left us with a surplus, which lasted....um...uh...
You don't honestly believe that do you? Klinton had no surplus. He was called slick Willy for a reason. It’s because he one-upped tricky Dick. If you don’t understand that, tricky Dick, Richard Millhouse Nixon got caught with his fingers in the cookie jar, slick Willy didn’t…
All the Klinton Administration did was to cook the books. Kilton did more to bleed jobs in this country than any other president from 1980s onward did. Which by the way, we were in no position to bleed jobs post 1980 because of all the jobs that left this country from the late 50s through 1979.
