They had a continuation of the riots in northern London today. I think the bobbies have to be armed soon.

London riots: violence goes national as riots erupt in Birmingham and across London - mirror.co.uk

The areas that have seen riots over the past 3 nights are Tottenham, Peckham, Lewisham, Clapham Junction, Croydon, Notting Hill, Fulham, Lee, Balham, Old Kent Road, Tower bridge, Woolwich, Camden, New Cross, Mile End, Ealing, Kilburn, Deptford, East Ham, Catford, Bethnal Green, Leyton Mills, Brixton, Dalston, Edmonton, Enfield, Islington, Oxford Circus, Ponder's End and Walthamstow in London alone! no wonder the police were stretched in London, there's also riots in Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol, that's 34 different riots in 3 days, and there's more than likely more areas been affected

You read this and then tell me that the same sentiment is not prevalent in the US.
We have flash mobs/robs going on..it only takes one spark to set this off and the social media of the internet will spread it to cities across the US like wildfire.

It's just that we have not cut into any of the entitlement programs YET.

UK Riots Live Blog | Al Jazeera Blogs
Many of the looters came from areas of high unemployment that are also suffering from cuts in social services and said they felt alienated from society. Police and politicians said they were simply criminals.

"It's been building up for years. All it needed was a spark," said E. Nan, a young man in a baseball cap surrounded by other youths in Hackney in east London. "We ain't got no jobs, no money ... We heard that other people were getting things for free, so why not us?"

Strangely enough, when we were over there for vacation,it was hard to find a English person working, most were from somewhere else-Italian,Eastern European,etc....

But I am sure these poor buggers were discriminated against.

Idiots. This is what a nanny state creates. By that logic I should be rioting.

The morons think their riots will somehow bring them fortune. We have armed conflict all over the world and unless you are stealing massive amounts of resources instead of petty little things you will end up with nothing or on the ground.
