There is strength in numbers. And that works for both good and evil.
Sadly the youth are using those numbers for evil
Obviously the great Marxist expermiment of Socialism and the government serving as the "parent" has failed society at large. Time to do away with such nonesense.

England's always had an underbelly of low class layabouts who are prone to violence. I grew up as a young kid in the north east in the 70's and for the first 6 years of my life that was spent in a council estate. For someone of Pakistani heritage it was an educational experience. You wouldn't want to go out alone too far from your home in daylight never mind at night. Those estates are still there, the only difference is now the thugs aren't just white, they are made up of blacks as well. I've no doubt that there will be Pakistani areas where kids are drifting towards this sort of lifestyle as well.

Where Asian communities are stronger is we tend to push family values more. It's a big part of muslim culture, although this doesn't get publicised much. I feel it's missing in the lower levels of English society regardless of race. How are these kids roaming around at night with all this trouble going on? Where are their parents? Probably getting drunk in front of the tv, sad to say.

Mark Durrant never shot at the police, so you are wrong there, a police officer was shot at tonight, but the shooting that started this all a few days ago, only the police fired

That is not what I have read in the Telegraph about the Durrant shooting, not even close. So you were there, in that cab with Mark Durrant four nights ago and know for a fact that he did not shoot? It was not his bullets that injured the police officer or lodged in a police radio?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It ain't about race, it's all about culture.

He was armed. I don't care if the guy was a saint. The incident might have kicked this thing off, but people this stupid are bound to find a reason to riot eventually anyway so it's irrelevant IMO.

So you read a story in a paper and consider the incident solved? It even if as you state does not justify arrson and looting.

I never said he was a saint or he wasn't armed but he never fired a shot, that's all I am saying, and it is a bit suspect how the police ''rolled with'' the we were shot at card

Maybe they screwed up, maybe not. I'm just talking about this as it pertains to the riots.
