Not that this fact would make a difference to the poster.

It's now nothing more than a bunch of punks simply looking to loot and destroy stuff for kicks.

The OP mentioned CULTURE, not race.

Multi-culturism, salad bowl theory, call it what you may is not RACE.

Take a look at various countries after a disaster and see how those with a common culture (Japan) react vs those with segregated cultures (US) react.

Has nothing to do with race.

Take the US back in the Great Depression. There are pictures of people waiting on long lines for food, jobs, etc.
You know that would not happen today...stampede is more like it as you can see from Black Friday sales and Housing voucher availability.

Sure, after all it was a black person who got killed by the police. So it makes sense that blacks were the initial rioters (which doesn't justify any such stupid behavior of course).
But after that all kinds of people were jumping on the bandwagon...

Which ends up meaning it's not about race.

It was an armed career criminal who was killed, who happened to be black.
A certain group seems to believe such types are heroes...

I think that lack of patience and willingness to hurt others and just take what one wants, has nothing to do with ethnicity. It is a cultural thing. Japan has a long history of discipline and rituals.

Be that as it may, it was not the first case like that, there have been many instances of police brutality before.
