As foreign markets tetter, the Communists in China are evaluating the cause of American financial crises.
Xinhua also called for the US to make substantial cuts to its “gigantic military expenditure and bloated social welfare costs” and said “a new, stable and secured global reserve currency may also be an option to avert a catastrophe caused by any single country.”
China urges US to ‘live within its means’ - FT.com
You ain't seen nothing yet,....just wait for Obamacare to become fully implemented. THEN, we'll show you "bloated social welfare".

Silly Chinese Communists,.....they don't understand that we can't cut our "gigantic military expenditure". America can't bring it troops home since unemployment is already at 9.1%, and it can't quit making military armament because it could just add more to the unemployment lines.

And, "live within (our) means"? We can't do that unless EVERYONE pays into the system, not just a simple majority.

Here is a rational proposal from one who seems to understand where America is headed:

(Gargan's) prescription includes "modest tax increases" on anyone earning more than $200,000 a year; a minimum level of taxation on earners who pay no income taxes to get buy-in from everyone on the need to reduce debt; a balanced budget amendment to prevent Congress from spending more than it takes in; and closing tax loopholes, while keeping capital gains rates low to encourage long-term business investment and hiring.

Raasch: Remember anti-debt prophet Jack Gargan? - USATODAY.com

But WAIT,...that makes too much sense and the liberal whiners would block its approval.

Our Chinese masters do not want us wasting money caring for our elderly or infirm.

Countries have COLONIES for 3 reasons
1. Raw Materials
2. Cheap Labor
3. A market for their manufactured goods

America has gone from being a Colonial Power to being a Colony in a decade.

Bolded text, mine.

Um...correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that first item one of the very things Repubs have been dead set against doing?

Well, the Chinese have to think we are total idiots.

Think about this - the Chinese limit their population.

We pay single mommas additional money for each kid they have.

That is pretty absurd, by anyone's standards.

Don't know about "Repubs",....but the vast majority of fiscally conservative voters would accept an across-the-board tax increase IF it were "modest" and accompanined by TRUE cuts in the size and scope of government,...instead of the smoke and mirrors presented by this administration.

Feel free to address EACH proposed idea. Most rational people see nothing wrong with EVERYONE having a stake in the game nor a balanced budget amendment. Take off your partisan hat for a moment and THINK.

Exactly!

The reason, this administration, has not gained the trust of the citizens.

Trust is a big thing.

The only one I trust in Politics right now, is Ron Paul.

China isn't really a "communistic" country because if they did, there would be no such thing as "money" in China... and that is exactly why communism won't work, you cannot expect people to be "given" a job and expect them to do it... and that is also why socialism has to steal from capitalism to fund itself because socialism doesn't generate money and can't force people to work so they steal instead...

Uuuuh, what about all those Free Trade agreements YOU forced on the rest of us? You know; the ones when you were still a manufacturing dynamo out-producing and out-consuming everyone else and used your purchasing leverage to force the rest of us to comply. You just didn't have the foresight to see your own companies would then move off-shore to avail themselves of all that cheap labour not the least concerned with a 15 minute coffee break every half hour in the union agreement.

Sheesh; you guys want your cake and eat it also until the damn cake is all gone! Enough already with this stuff about 'buy Amuurikan'. Who you going to sell anything to if you refuse to buy their stuff.

How you gonna sell a car to anyone within your own country if you can't justify the thing costing twice what it's worth compared to other cars.

You think your own citizens will tolerate all those Walmart closings? You think they're magicly gonna have a whole bunch more money to spend on home made stuff?

Paying $100 bucks for the new toaster oven, instead of $50, should fly if you tell 'em "but it's made in Amuurika".
