Are you really going to keep screaming and screaming that we should never raise taxes -- that all taxes are theft in fact? Or are you at some point going to acknowledge that we need to raise taxes to those scary-Communist times levels of the 90s?

Raising taxes in a situation like this will have only one virtue: It'll make for a quick, clean kill.

We have lower tax rates then we did in the 1990s and the economy is much worse. Tax cuts have only increased deficits and slowed job creation.

Government is already too big, bloated, and rife with fraud. Why would we want more of that? Scale down the scope and size of the federal government. There is no reason to increase taxes. If the feds want more revenue they can either stop being obstructionists in the private sector so employers can actually employ more people, or root out and eliminate fraud and eliminate government departments and programs.

Question: Will liberals ever stop the incessant cries to increase taxes?

So the 90s felt like a gulag for you, eh? So what that one of the reasons we're all going to be paying more on interest rates is that S&P realizes we will never raise taxes... no tax raises for you. You'd rather pay that money to banks and international money lenders.

You are incorrectly applying a cause and effect relationship. However, the reverse would absolutely be true: if you raise taxes, job creation (as paltry as it is) will halt.
