I've never smoked weed, but I don't see why its illegal, and I do not think it should be taxed.
Marijuana is illegal but not unlawful.

Americans have a 9th Amendment constitutional right to grow, smoke or sell - guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

I don't advocate for it's use, but it should be legal and untaxed.
Our government doesn't need a new revenue stream to abuse.

So if we legalize pot everyone will grow their own?

Most people don't even grow their own tomatoes. Furthermore, there's a whole heck of a lot of money to be saved by legalizing pot even if we don't get a dime in tax revenue.
