June netted 9,500 new jobs; more than half of the entire nations 18,000 net new jobs created in the same time period!
Way to go Wisconsin!!! Guess who's doing something right and creating a business friendly environment...
"Since January, our new Governor and new legislative majorities have focused on creating a positive economic climate so that job creators in our state and throughout the nation will again see Wisconsin as a place to expand their businesses and bring family supporting jobs. Wisconsin has been a national leader in enacting policies to help job creators grow, and employers have taken notice. From lawsuit reforms to regulatory reforms, and of course balancing a $3.6 billion deficit while holding the line on taxes, our state is truly moving in the right direction. It is good to see those efforts translating to real jobs."
Wait a minute, didn't governor scott walker create a wasteland of the state of wisconsin? Didn't he and the evil republicans throw everyone out on the street?

The July numbers are out as well. It's sad to see so many low-wage jobs being filled now by desperate people. Some governors toot their own horn, but the smart ones look ahead.
Did you happen to notice how the Governor took out debt and restructured existing debt to "balance" the budget? Take some time to understand the numbers.
The misrepresentation spin machine is in full tilt by the Walker administration because the senate recall election is this coming week!
Wrong, even by your links own admission. Walker went to pains to put the job growth in the proper perspective. Your link took issue with the state GOP's characterization of the gains. Nice try!
We started by looking at the other state-by-state reports, released by the federal government at the same time Wisconsin’s numbers were issued.
Wisconsin wasn’t at the top.
That claim belonged to Texas, with an increase of 32,000 jobs. Numerous other states showed larger job gains than Wisconsin. For instance, California was up 28,800, and our neighbor Minnesota topped Wisconsin with an increase of 13,200 jobs.
Obviously, those add up to more than 18,000 jobs added in the country in June. Indeed, if you were to tally all the state reports -- accounting for those with increases and decreases -- you’d wind up with a net monthly increase of 64,900 jobs -- not the originally discussed 18,000. And half of them would have been created in Texas.
Not surprising that Walker and the powers that be are attempting to skew the numbers, considering the fact tht those pesky little recall elections are in full swing.
I am not surprised, but the left is lying about its own link. The link they are tripping over concludes Walker was right. From the link.
"Walker addressed the flawed comparisons a few days after the jobs report was released, during a July 26, 2011 appearance in Wausau.
"We made it very clear at our announcement that (our number) was not half of all the jobs out there, though it is an interesting parallel," Walker said.
In looking back at the various statements, some clearly went further than others -- and further than Walker’s original tweet. Many of the strongest comparisons seem to take the lead from the state GOP, which claimed "over 50 percent of U.S. job growth in June came from our state."
As the Bureau of Labor Statistics notes, it is wrong to combine the two sets of numbers to reach this conclusion. After all, by that approach Minnesota, California and Texas could all say the same as the state GOP, which would lead to at least four halves and, apparently, two wholes.
This item isn’t on whether the jobs news was good -- clearly it was -- but on how it was presented.
We rate the state GOP claim False."
I am not sure what the left has against the people of Wisconsin. Why would they not want job growth?

I've not read anything like that, anywhere. It's about statements being true, and what the real motives are for those that produce false statements, at least misleading.
I think most are somewhat happy when companies create temporary, seasonal, and low-paying jobs, it's better than nothing. The jobs being lost are mostly good-paying jobs with benefits.
Read it and watch it yourself. The numbers are there. The only ones who should be embarrassed are those who keep trying to get in the way of success!
"The preliminary job creation numbers for the month of June are in, and the message is clear: Wisconsin is creating jobs again. The Department of Workforce Development announced that Wisconsin gained 12,900 new private-sector jobs in June, the highest monthly total since 2003, and had a net of 9,500 new jobs for the month. That number was more than half of the entire nation’s 18,000 net new jobs created over the same time period."
Wisconsin's business community has been empowered!
Having grown up near wisconsin and traveled there extensively, I'm well aware of their summer tourism industry.
The claims being made are about as dumb as pointing to higher summer temperatures than in the spring and claiming that global warming is rapidly escalating.

One from an official gov. site with statistics and verifiable documents in further links. The other from a spin factory, that is funded by George Soros.
