Will this idea catch on?

Quote:

The teachers union has proposed switching from traditional health insurance to health savings accounts – called HSAs – in order to save the $755,000 the School Committee is seeking to balance next year’s budget. Doing so, a union official said, would save $900,000.

What I found interesting with this is that a group associated with liberals(unions)are interested in using an health care idea mostly associated with conservatives.

Obama's health care law greatly limited HSA's. HSA's were also included in Paul Ryan's budget proposal that liberals bashed. I'm a fan of HSAs coupled with a High deductible policy and think and they are in our future.
