It most likely will .. I think that last week they sort of picked a spot (-500) to land on, on account of the presumed S&P ratings drop, and today, they're targeting a more precise number or position.

With last week's fall on the index, along with today's index adjustments, and the loss of Freddy and Fannie's (among others) AAA rating today, I think it will be historic enough ..
We can call it a *turning point ..
As an aside .. I think stocks will will tumble a bit more when the downgrade comes on Fannie and Freddy
