There are predictions the stock market will lose more than 80% in this mess.

Where are your 401k's?

If the end is near because of markets then that confirms the idea that we have indeed put way too much emphasis on money in our world. LOL

Laugh now. The flap dancing idiots and drunkards from the 1920s thought that nothing would ever happen to them and by the 1930s they were plunged into the great depression. Don't get too comfortable.

The money isn't real anyhow. It's really nothing but numbers in some electronic database. Those of use with 401K plans knew going in that it was all a big game, just a gamble.

Yep. Imagine having to eventually print all those hundreds of trillions that U.S. banks are responsible for. Most money in the U.S. is created by commercial banks in the form of digital money, not by the Fed. Thank you fractional reserve banking

I personally am more worried about hyperinflation than the stock market. The people who invested in the stock market knew what they were getting into and decided to take the risk. The rest of us stand a good chance of losing all our savings and we never did anything risky whatsoever with our money.

Do you think these predictions have merit?

Please cite your sources. Apocalyptic predictions are silly.
