I have said before that I believe the manner in which the government is running its finances, the country will hit a financial brick wall in due time. Today is the warning sign that the end of the road is near and the brick wall is approaching.
We need as many people as possible who are of age to work to pull their own weight. We can not print anymore money. We simply cannot continue spending without regard to the fact that the debt must be paid off. This is the case for all entities - households, companies, and countries.
Despite the blame game that Geithner & Obama are playing so far, this is not a left or right issue – it’s a green issue.
Again, the wall is approaching. Obama is the bus driver; Geithner is in the first seat behind him. Congress is the dispatcher – and is unsure on what to do. China, as the bus owner, is communicating on the two-way radio, telling him to stop and change course. The passengers (US citizens) are making more and more noise. What will Obama do? Will Congress become decisive and help Obama guide the bus away from the wall? Will Obama and Geithner blame the blame the passengers on the bus for distracting him and making too much noise? Or will we all hit the wall?

Is that so? The rich get to keep more of their money than ever before. Oil subsidies have never been higher. And fewer and fewer people will be benefitting from social programs the more we cut.
Anyone who thinks we're on a path to socialism must think Britain or France is fresh off another Bolshevik Revolution.
Funny how 40% of the economy that used to be our money became their money.
They have tripled their wealth in a decade while the average Americans wealth went down. So either you are one of them or you are paying for their gluttony
