No, they are Americans with Conservative views. They support reduced spending and a much smaller government foot print on our throats. Which is totally opposite of the Progressive Tax & Spend More theory of wealth redistribution, to eliminate the middle class.
well, it's no different than what y'all say .... which is that anyone who disagrees with the tea party is a "liberal."

Thank you! They're just projecting their simplistic way of thinking onto us. Liberals tend to be more nuanced.

well not everyone who is conservative is an advocate for the GOP party line. GOP is currently obsessed with taxes, and that's more of a generational warfare issue than anything else. They need to find a way to pay for their medicare.

You know, that's an interesting comment.

The Tea Party doesn't have an image problem with me. The folks with the image problem are the Democrats and liberals, who have totally failed to even participate in the national discussion about how to handle the country's fiscal crisis.

Democrats have an image problem with me that is entirely of their own making. Why, you might ask. Here's a few reasons:

* They care more about those who don't work than those who do.
* Their answer to every problem conceivable is for me to pay more taxes to the government.
* These people booed the Boy Scouts of America at their national convention.
* Democrats seem to think that I can't be trusted to own an automatic weapon despite the fact that I was honorably discharged from the military after seven years. On the other hand, these same people think that convicted felons should have voting privileges.
* Some of their core constituents include illegal immigrants, the inner city urban culture that hates white people, and an assortment of freaks and loons from academia to hollywood that I have nothing in common with.
* These people have no problem calling someone who wants to balance the budget a terrorist, but they won't dare call an actual terrorist a terrorist for fear of offending them.

There are many, many more reasons why your side has an image problem with me and millions of other Americans. The Tea Party, on the other hand, didn't make the mess we're in and they're the only ones who seem to be trying to actually fix the problem.

So, before you pontificate about the so-called image problem of the Tea Party, I would suggest this: Physician, heal thyself.

We are not.
You could not be more wrong. There is the tea party that is Co-Opted by the Neo-Cons in the Republican party that probably does see the world like that (because they are afraid of losing power) and then there are just regular people that even call out their own party because they just want the govt to do whats right. Mostly the Rand Paul type republicans.

There are many different views on the right just like you claim their are on the left. There are also a lot on the right (libertarians)that while economically conservative, they socially share some of the same views with the left. But honestly, many seem more interested in throwing mud and calling people ignorant, racist etc. than to build alliances on certain issues. People need to stop making stuff up just to make them selves look good to push their agendas.

You're a racist and a Tea Party member if you don't agree with what he's doing!!

That's all they have....pathetic!!!

I've said it before...I think a lot (NOT ALL) of white folks that gave him their vote are tired of being called racists.

Agreed. I would also add that I did NOT vote for him and I am also tired of being called a racist.

Yep, I think it's the rule of Modus Ponens.

Default Axelrod frightens me

Watched the clip of David Axelrod beat up the T-party for the downgrade.

He appeared as some rabid political character right out of a Iron Curtain survivor's story of how communists took over his village.

Axelrod's performance was downright frightening in its upside logic spoken with a straight face and coincidently his hairdo was reminiscent of Bavarian painter and actually raised goose bumps.

That news clip of Axelrod pounding the T-party was the equivalent of Kruschev pounding his shoe on the table and telling America, "we will bury you'.

Touche!

I have to agree. If there is a hint of Progressive filth, your tossed out with the trash.

That is how this crap got started. One great idea to micro manage, then another, then another. Herding cows, isn't so easy.
