Obama plan: Destroy Romney - Ben Smith and Jonathan Martin - POLITICO.com

I guess when you have no record to run on, you have to resort to this kind of cr*p.

It is going to be difficult for Obama to attack Romney without also attacking his own policies.

Obamacare = Romneycare (financial failure & long wait times/rationing)

Maybe they'll both destroy each other and Ron Paul can slip in.

I hope they spend an inordinate amount of time planning on how to take down Romney. Then, when a real conservative gets nominated and Skippy has to run on his record they won't know what to do.

Good. Don't care. Romney is poison and anti 2nd Amendment. The good thing about Obama is he came in as a boasting liberal. You can defend best against identified enemies and we have made it hell on Obama so far. Romney is a snake, much like Bush. Anti 2nd Amendment snake, no less.

We need honesty and straightforward actions. Ron Paul is about the only sane man in this race. I don't 100% agree with him either but at least he doesn't bull**** people. This glad-handing deception has got to end. Now.

I would love to see Ron Paul as president. Maybe he could bring some common sense back to DC.

Exactly!

Not a fan of Romney for exactly that reason... Romneycare.

I understand you want a purist, but it's not going to happen. The American people want someone who has demonstrated competence because that's what the economy requires right now. All the other conservative issues will take a back seat to that central issue.

Ron Paul may say the right things but, apart from demonstrating spine, he has not demonstarted the kind of competence that the American people will rally around. That's why the nomination will end up us a battle between two governors--Romney and Perry.

Ron Paul is the best choice to lead this country out of the quagmire of poor monetary policy and the political/fiscal policies which have brought us to this tipping point.

Obviously you have not been paying attention. When it comes to the economy and our monetary policy no one in Congress or this administration has displayed more competence than Ron Paul. Romney is another big government Progressive as is Perry but Perry is also throwing a side of theocracy in with his campaign. Both Romney & Perry have been called before the Bilderburg Group to be apprised of the global plans they are expected to institute for the world bankers.

Is that what you want? Obama-lite with a slicked haircut?
