Wow OP, are you pissy at the Philly mayor because he said what needed to be said to a bunch of young hooligans? He should say it more and louder to all youngsters running about instigating troupble and without immediate parental supervision. I say BRAVO to him!
The mayor is the top Law Enforcement official of a city. I think I'll e-mail this to my new mayor's office and maybe he'll take a clue and do similarly as teen flash mobs are a problem here too.
How do you damage your race? One person speaks for all?
How do you tell people how to dress? Is it a violation of the 1st amendment?
First, the mayor is simply telling them to take down their hoodies, not actually proposing a dress code. Second, damaging their race means they're doing themselves a disservice & playing into the very stereotype that black people are trying to get rid of by acting like that.
Very well...no it is not a constitutional violation. He did not order that hoodies could not be worn...just suggested they take them down and quit trying to hide their faces like bandits. These punks ARE doing their community a disservice by acting like varmints...so why not call them on it....works for me.
I respect someone more, who is no pu--- but speaks the truth, and you know what for a change good for him, the mobs are getting a bit out of hand don't you think.
I could hear the Parents of some of these kids, oh no not my Son, not my daughter, do these parents even know where their children are, do they care?
