The US and Israel stand together against those who want to eliminate us PRECISELY because we support Israel and it's ethnic cleansing campaign against the Palestinians. Don't buy the koolaid.
The Middle East is none of our business and we should not be involved. We are in North America. We need to get out and if we never supported Israel in the first place, we would never have been a target of terrorism or 911, or have gotten into the countless wars that have bankrupted our country.

I wholeheartedly disagree. The Jordanians in Palestine are a tool, the Islamists could easily provide for their needs, but they choose not to. They are a weapon against Israel. They don't want peace, they want to eliminate Israell, along with us, because they hate western values. Islam is all about domination and subjugation. You are the one that needs to wake up. Allah is Supreme, Islamist are superemecists and it is an honor to die for their cause.

Back on topic... food aid is a waste of time. Partially funding infastructure projects and attaching continued funding to actual project progress would be a better way to help African economic growth.

So taboo a subject was aid and corruption that, until three years ago, the main donor agencies, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund had no policies for dealing with it. But after years of deliberate obfuscation, there is now so much concern at the amount of money going astray that a parliamentary inquiry into corruption in British aid is to begin hearings this week.

Absolutely. Our economic bullying over these many years has created tension, distress, terror, confusion and now a whole lot of rage around the globe. It's not just the United States, of course, but our self-righteous swaggering certainly has not helped calmed the masses out there. The reasons behind why so many people are suffering should be enough to make thinking people weep.
Africa has been the continual recipient of the world's charity for generations.
