If that were true, shouldn't we all be on UE benefits?
Oh, but obama says people on UE spend the money they receive, instead of saving it. Yes, that might be true, but they spend it on essentials - food, shelter, the bare minimum.
What they DON'T do is go out and engage in the kind of spending, beyond essentials, that is required to spur job growth, to create demand in business/services that would result in hiring.
We have proof of that right here, right now. UE benefits, under the dems, have been extended to 96+ weeks. I don't see the kind of consumer spending that correlates with the extension of benefits....do any of you?
Obama's trying on the Pelosi lie about UE benefits being a "stimulus" for size.
McCaskill is desperate to retain her seat and has begun pandering for votes. What she appears to "oppose" in the guise of fiscal responsibility she usually ends up voting for in lock step with whatever Obama wants. Air Clair is Chuckie Schumer's lap dog.
How does he reconcile this "idea" with deficit reduction?
