Spoken like a true J...... Know what? I won't say it. LOL! His kind worships money.
Congratulations on your remarkable show of self-control. It shows that perhaps you are not a true bigo...Know what? I won't say it.
Money is the material manifestation of worthy effort, proven by the fact that others willingly and freely exchange it for goods, services, or labor that they value. It is a sign of achievement. While it is not the proper object for worship, neither should it be denigrated, or sprayed around almost at random by a profligate government.

What's a "bigo"??
No one is saying money has no value. It's the value people like you put on it. You just feel guilty for worshiping it. And you should......
80 years of Keynesian economic policies has left our nation 14 trillion dollars in debt. It is time to return to the classical liberal philosophies of Jefferson, Smith, Mill, Mises, Hayek and Friedman.
Liberal schmiberal. Aside from Jefferson (I assume you are talking about Thomas Jefferson), I never heard of any of these people. Conversely, I wonder if you have ever heard of Rockefeller, Ford (as in Henry), Getty (as in J. Paul), Carnegie (as in Andrew - as in libraries), and a host of WEALTHY entrepreneurs who made this country strong.
Nobel prizes and all that are very nice, but they do not feed people. Theory and postulation is what is *wrong* with this country. Rolling up your sleeves and CREATING work and opportunities is what matters, not sitting around talking about it (or in most liberals' cases, whining about it.)
American society is shallow. Money (and materialism) is highly valued, even worshipped. America is the nation that worships the Golden Calf.
Who are Americans without their materialism?
I was listening to this guy describing a (somewhat exaggerated) situation that goes like this.
Lets say there is a Coffee place that's a small business. A Starbucks is close, down the street. The place that isn't Starbucks is obviously not doing huge business compared to Starbucks, who of course are have great business and making great money regardless of whether or not that local shop is there. Starbucks opens another location on the other side of the local Coffee Shop, then another one across the street, with the sole purpose of driving that local place out of business.
Is this totally justified under the guise of Capitalism, or is this selfishness and greed?
it's justified, and it's not exaggerated. Starbucks is well known for opening several locations in one area, and cannabalizing their own sales, to see which location is most profitable.

+5 rep for u
To the mature (which leaves out a few of the above) Buffet is not the issue, he is what he is, good for him. Its the typical american who drives Hummer, pays 200 in gas every week,(then complain Obama charges too much for oil) like my idiot neighbor, and says this is the greatest country in the world (the furthest he's ever traveled is Myrtle Beach) . Those are the type of idiots that vote for Jim DeMint as well.
Ultimately it is the consumers who decide, so that really isn't selfishness or greed. Plus, it is also a very unlikely scenario considering that Starbucks is probably going to lose more money by trying to drive this man out of business than they would gain by acquiring his customers.
If you wanted to use an example of unethical business practices or monopolies, you should have used a more likely example. Something like Starbucks buying out coffee wholesalers to either drive competitors out of business or make it that they profit even from competitors. That is a much more plausible example with real world precedents.
Hm, but the consumers didnt decide they wanted cheap trash made by wal-mart-In NYC the people protested more Walmarts being built.
Starbucks is already doing what you claim they aren't, in China. China's a prosperous emerging market now, welcome to the new world order.
