150 years on, there is no such thing to appease this section of British society. Besides, a EU in decline and Britian being its hapless trade partner is not helping at all.
This is a repeat of Paris 2004. Europe survived owing to imperialism and feudalism before that. It will never be the same for a continent in decline.

You could have been leaving your office or walking to your car or hailing a cab or going to buy a few groceries...either way you can not "escape" your Blackness by trying to intellectualize it away. People make snap judgments about people based on the way that they look and you look "Black". So it is of no matter that you do not share cultures and traditions with the Afro-Caribbeans of Great Britain because you look like them and will be prejudged accordingly.

What's interesting in reading the coverage about the riots is that how some commentators took aims to say Afro-Caribbeans as opposed to merely Black. I suspect there were a few Africans in the mix but it seems to be an open secret over there that the Afro-Caribbeans are a big driver of the crime over there.

The riots started in a black area by primarily Afro-Caribbean blacks then after the police proved incapable or unwilling to stop the orgy non-blacks joined in. It's interesting to note that the riots were confined to English cities. None were reported in Cardiff, Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh or any other city outside of England. Why? Could be because these cities have very small Afro-Caribbean populations.

So ALL other cultures of Black people (except those specifically from your Ghanaian background) are the cause of ALL the world's problems? Huh, that's fascinating to know. And yet, the cops would still hit your Black self over the head with a shillelagh so fast that you would see stars.
(sigh...it is so sad when some people can not accept their own Blackness and are not strong enough to simply fight the good fight in their own lives yet attempt to downgrade any and all other Black people instead....sad)
