Seriously, I think Bill Clinton was the last great President we had. We were at peace and had a booming economy. The only thing they could pin on him was a sex scandal. I would take that anyday compared to the last two clowns in office who seem to be taking us down a burning Rome path.

Sorry, but, saying Clinton was responsible for a good economy is not true. It was Paul Volcker wiping out the speculators in the 80s with high interest rates that set the stage for the 90s boom, and subsequent 2008 bust

I don't think I would go THAT far but it was nice being blissfully ignorant THINKING that the only thing that was going on was the sxe scandal. In actuality the Real Estate bubble was inflating; banksters were dreaming up their ponzi schemes with the aid of the government. We were still stirring up trouble around the world. There was Bosnia and there were 7500 military deaths. The so called "Free Trade" agreements began to be put in place and our manufacturing sector began getting weaker and weaker. Government grew. Bill Clinton was a puppet for the Bilderberg Elites and following out their agenda. It just wasn't as obvious as it is with Bush and Obama.

Sorry I don't buy into conspiracy theories, I know what I saw with my own eyes. Your not talking to some kid who just got out of college.

I think it had more to do with Clinton raising taxes AND cutting spending which lead to a balanced budget, which led to a surplus, and also him staying out the way of business.

Hey, maybe that's what Obama needs right now is a good Sex Scandal to distract the public from his current woes.
