So I am very pleased to be out of Washington -- (applause) -- and it is great to be here. That’s the reason that we’re on this bus tour.
So is he telling the people this as if they could not figure it out OR is he making the statement to remind himself why he ventured away from DC?
He was saying that only the voters can tell their congress members to govern, not act like stubborn asses. Nothing too surprising about that after the last few months. The GOP behavior has been appalling.
Obviously, the voters did. Remember now, the polls showed the public AGAINST raising the debt ceiling.
