Seems like 9 out of 10 times they run as Republicans. Oh wait, it's 10 out of 10.

Because Tea Party supported candidates are usually what Republicans should be, not what Republicans have sadly become.

If they are true Republicans that makes them Republicans, not independents.

That's because they believe the republican party can be reformed. They believe the democratic party is beyond reform. I agree with the tea party.

Independent isn't a political party, you can be an independent Democrat or Republican.

Bingo.

Tea Party candidates surely aren't going to try running as Democrats, they despise most of the horrible policies that Democrats rely on to buy votes.

Because they (at least a few) want to reform the party and running as anything but an R or D makes things way harder.

The Tea Party is a movement ;I would have thought people would be clear on that by now.But I guess some don;t even know what a Blue Dog democrats is ;althought it madeup the major of wins in the midterms when Democrats took the senate and house.

Because they are not a party or totally indepentent, they are a mixture of people, from all walks of life that mainly want to see the end of taxing everyone and want to see a return of some sanity in our government.
