I don't know for certain that Building 7 was destroyed under false pretenses. It very well could have been caused by related heat and debris from WTC I and II-although it does seem unlikely due to the manner in which it seemed to implode.

But people did gain from the destruction. It is estimated that substantial files of 3,000-4,000 active cases were destroyed in the SEC, including ENRON type cases. About 45 cases cannot be retrieved from any back-up system. The IRS, DOD and CIA also had floor space in the tower.


Some conspiracists question why a new insurance policy against terror attacks was taken out in July of 2001 but as the new owner of the building it only makes sense to re-write the insurance policy at that time so I don't see anything suspicious about that.
