Exactly. That's what I took away from the comment as well. "On Demand" is indeed "available when you want it".....which is exactly what Liberals want. It doesn't matter if its the 1st or the 12th abortion, as long as the access is unfettered, that's their only concern.

"Personal responsibility" on the back side......disgusting and very typical of the Immoral Left.

As for the argument of teens, you do realise that most teens who get pregnant come from broken homes and having a baby will put them on welfare, something that conservative always rally against.
No, I don't realize this. Prove it.

Is there any reason a minor needs a doctors note to take a Tylenol...but doesn't need any parental notification for an abortion?

Can you see the insanity there?

The pro-abortionists don't want any restrictions, any waiting period, any parental notification..all they want is free abortion on demand, no matter what.

Well, too bad. The courts have ruled the states has the right and authority to implement such things.

As it is today a parent may never know if or how many abortions their daughter had.

If the parent did have to consent then maybe, just maybe, that parent would do something to help their daughter prevent future pregnancies/abortions.
If parents were being responsible in the first place.....they would make sure their teens had access to birth control and knew how to use it.......BEFORE they ended up pregnant......not AFTER.

Nice how parents always want to step up after the fact.
parents can be the best around, and do everything right, and yet their child can still do stupid things and end up pregnant. how often did you decide not to obey your parents?

as was pointed out this just makes it harder for women to get the services they need when they need it.
yes, some parents make poor decisions, but so do children. understand however that there are consequences to our actions, and we have to accept those consequences. the state in my opinion is doing the right thing with the law.

Yeah, we try, but for some reason, conservatives don't like it.
having access to contraceptives, and having education on sex does not mean that children, or even adults for that matter, are always going to make the right decisions about using those available contraceptives. and there is NO contraceptive that is 100% in regards to prevention. condoms break, the pill sometimes fails, etc. they ONLY 100% effective prevention is in fact abstinence.

I am no fan of abortion, but people are naive if they think that this is going to stop a woman from getting rid of a child she doesn't want.

which is why abstinence should also be taught as part of any sex ed program, but it isnt because the liberal elite doesnt believe in abstinence as a viable method of birth control. so unless a woman has an immaculate conception, abstinence is 100% effective in preventing unwanted pregnancies.

Yeah, abstinence works great - when people actually adhere to it, which isn't often.
