Blue jeans were partly responsible for the fall of Communist Russia! I remember writing about hipsters a while back in the Music forum. Here it is.

It's at this point that they are still actually willing to go back and appreciate Little Wayne or give Justin Timberlake a fair shake.
Class A Hipster -- doesn't like anything. The search for new music has him scraping the bottom of the barrel. He clings to anything new and different with little regard for whether or not he really enjoys it in order to keep his reputation as "hip" amongst friends. These kids treat mainstream indie bands like "dad music" or "passe" or "frat music" in order to elevate themselves above all other hipsters. They often feel compelled to like extremely trite mainstream music just to shock friends and so that they can prove they actually aren't hipsters in a pinch. They go to concerts to be seen and probably spend most of it talking or looking around at who else is there. They probably do coke. They are probably almost ready to backlash against Animal Collective or whoever is starting to get too much attention.
If you add Douche to the end of any of these, it just means they also dress/talk like an a$shole.
Anyway, I could see a Class A Hipster feigning 'right wing' values. But it's mostly a music/culture/fashion thing.
Agreed. Blue jeans are only worn by homosexuals, illegal immigrants, and communists. Wearing blue jeans can only lead to increased rates of crime, rape, smoking reefer, and acceptance of deviant lifestyle choices like being a beatnik. Other side effects might include listening to anti-American "folk music" or even partaking in that evil jungle jazz music popular with the negros. One day you're wearing Levis, the next day, you're playing the bongos and saying "right on, daddy-o!"
The only cure for one who's fallen into this pit of social despair is well-tailored flannel suit and a prescription-level dose of John Wayne films.

Blue jeans are slovenly and make a statement. An adult male should be well kempt in dress as well as behavior. Dressing like a pig in the presense of others confers a lack of respect and order. One should try to be a positive role model and example at all times.
What do I wear camping? I don't camp. However, when hunting, I wear cammo and boots. The pigs and pheasants do not have the same standards of dress as my colleagues.
Blue jeans are an American tradition and cultural icon. Why do you hate America so much?
