The CP designates race in the organization, NAACP. Colored People.
How racist can it get.

It is not NAAAP, for All People.

Just think of the outrage if there was a NAAWP, for White People? Chants of the KKK would be shouted from the roof tops.

The same can be said for the LaRaza( the Race) for hispanic racism.

Why in our society today, even after the civil rights movement of the 1960's, do we still need racist organizations such as this.

Should these organizations, receive subsidies/funds from our federal government?

What? You don't want the government to pay for "race" based organizations?? Well that's racist!!!

If they can support NAACP, then they should also fund the KKK to!!!

As long as there are politicians who owe political favors and want votes there will be subsidies/funds for ethnic/race based organizations.

(Except if they are white or conservative or anti-illegal alien organizations)

Just plain tired of all of them. This is 2011 not 1965 or 1865. Enough is enough.......

So now in 2011 no subject dealing with race is allowed and if brought up is automatically branded as racist?????

Is this the United States where "free speech" is revered? Has the First Amendment been abolished?

Is this now Nazi Germany/China/Russia with an American flag???

We can't fix this mess we call the USA, unless we discuss what is bringing us down as Americans.

No one is different and no one is better than anyone else.

I didn't say the federal government funds the NAACP, 100%.

They get grants and other subsidies from our federal government. So does LaRaza. Southern Poverty, Negro College Fund.

There are many race based organizations that get some funding from the Federal Government.
