The Tea Party can have multiple goals.
1. Lobby Congress to hold the line against any NEW taxes
2. Hold Congress accountable for the tax money they are currently collecting.
3. Prevent Barack Hussein from getting a second term
We need to devise ways to get the Tea Party out of government. Their terrorist tactics are really making businesses afraid to invest. Businesses need to know there will be demand in the economy for their products whether it is from government or private sector to make new investments and hire new workers.

Yes it is for a 14 trillion dollar economy. Don't just look at the absolute size of the deficit.
how about the absolute size of the debt? which happens to be 100% of the gdp. more borrowing equals more debt, which equals more spending on servicing the debt rather than on things that actually matter. trillion plus debts are unsustainable, unless our economy is something like ten times what it is now. we cannot continue to expand the debt through deficit spending. if we do we will end up like the soviet union. ask them how good deficit spending is. oh you cant BECAUSE THEY DONT EXIST ANYMORE. huge government spending is the path to destruction, and if the progressives were actually honest about it all the time, they would agree with it.

The economic and political steps which the US took over several decades (i.e. globalization, "free trade", shifting its wealth and power to far east) are probably too much to overcome at present.

He knows full well the financial abuses & FED malfeasance that took place were akin to taking medication for a disease that didn't exist until it created a new disease. That debt clock should have been turning backwards every year we had economic boom, but it did not save for clinton era.
As for TP, not much more than Luddites desperate for another hit of a crack pipe that ailed them. Small business with a lick of sense knows they got the sh*tty end of the stick when the whole of government services mega corps skirting the law & mandating foreign policy by owning the pen. TP business owners thinking they were smarter than the average bear riding the coat tails of weasels should expect to be out of business soon. They never knew a thing about legitimate commerce.
As for OP, agreed. They're throw backs hell bent on maintaining their own brand of welfare queen. One that's far more destructive on massive scale than poverty stricken bottom 5%. Not only won't there be growth. There will be no recovery possible without them gone. They're servicing the bidding of organized criminals.
