Or European/European descended societies that riot for random reasons like sports.

Some Japanese exhibit lack of restraint and violence when it comes to politics though...fist fighting and such. In many African descended societies, such behavior is unheard of in that arena.

Default In Japan stealing is a reflection of who you are

That's also why you don't see bikes locked up, except in port towns where ships from other countries cleaned out the bicycles and anything not nailed down when they left port so local Japanese had to start locking their bikes up.

I never lived in Japan but I only assume:

Japanese culture is not one that looks for excuses for their poor actions. I would imagine it is frowned upon.

Therefore looting, dancing in the street, burning cars and buildings, would be completely unacceptable to them.

The bond and sense of community between citizens is very strong in Japan!

In Japan, race and nationality are, for the most part, the same thing!

No one, no race, no country is morally superior. Comparison is lame.

Looting is universally condemned, but when disaster strikes, survivors can get desperate. Really not sure the purpose of this kind of thread.

There have been instances of looting at supermarkets and liquor stores. Sato had also heard reports about a stabbing and a rape in the town. "In some cases there were houses that were half-destroyed, and people would go in and look for anything they could find to use or to eat," he said.

When certain situations present themselves the hands have a mind of their own and they can be any color.

Very true. Unfortunately, some refuse to accept that, although the evidence is in front of them.
