Fuel Fix » Bachmann: Environmentalists blocking U.S. energy

Thats one of 'President Bachmanns' ideas. Better than Obamma expanding them and slowing things down even more.

Yeah, well, she thinks her husband is heterosexual, so I wouldn't take anything she says seriously

Sounds good to me and while at it shut down the department of energy and education as well.

I am tired of my tax dollars going to support pigs at the trough.

Heaven knows I'm no fan of Bachmann but I'd like to see the EPA reigned in. They did some good back in the 70s and 80s but now they have gone overboard. With a budget of over $8 bil we could save a small chunk of change if we shut down half of it.

I'm tired of drinking water without PCB's in it, too.

You young folks may not remember PCB's. Google it some time. It's fascinating stuff.

Actually, I think the EPA wants to regulate all you C02 exhalers.

I once had a meeting at EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs which I believe is at Crystal City. The office layout could only be compared to the hedge maze in the Stephen King movie The Shining except that in the movie only one person was nuts. The clutter of paper and books on the floor and on shelves looked like a scene from Hoarders.

Nothing wrong with an enviornmental protection agency. They just need to be used responsibly.

There have been rivers that were polluted so badly that people couldn't live near them.

I had a couple of those guys in my business once because they were investigating a business located in the same building. One of them spilled a bottle of nitric acid on my floor and instead of going to the mandated spill cleanup center, proceeded to go to the washbasin, grab about 50 tri-fold paper towels, and throw them at the spill. When he was finished with what he was doing, he left an improperly labeled container of hazardous waste in my area. I could have gotten written up if someone else had seen it.
