Why sure! Vote for candidate based on appearance. After all here in America we want our elected officials to look like movie stars and as a matter of fact we even elect them with no prior government experience at all. Ron Paul is the only republican that makes any sense. BTW, is he still a republican? It doesn't matter because even if he all the answers and could put the US back in business he is still too old, too bald, too short, and plain looking. Imagine how far Bachmann would have got if shelooked like Susan Boyle. Why if Bachmann and Palin showed a little cleavage and some leg they would be sure to win. It doesn't matter if they don't know American history or the workings of government just so they look good. Then there's Perry, a nice looking guy with a full head of hair, who looks like your local used car salesman. He denies science, would bring religion to government, and loves America so much he wants Texas to go it separate way, but he looks good, so he's a good candidate. I think the voters who are best qualified to elect candidates are those that are blind.

Lightbulb Sexy Michele Bachman?

I'd have to say "bizarre" is a more appropriate adjective...

No, not sexy...

Default Only if you are a Regressive

In her low class, she's superficially attractive. If one finds a lizard sexy, then I suppose they'd find Bachmann sexy as well. The puffed hair identifies her as a female.

Her hair looks really good! Based on what I heard her say she is socially conservative, but doesn't believe she should outlaw abortion or prevent civil unions. I personally think abortion is generally a sin, but I've never been in the position of needing to have one...so I say if women do it is between them and God. Plus the bibles I have say to MYFB, uhm I mean don't judge others.

So I think she's OK...if for some crazy reason Ron Paul doesn't win, is it wrong to vote for someone because she has nice hair?

No. She still looks like a banshee. Besides, no matter what one looks like, if they are crazy, they will never be attractive.

There must be some age component at work here, Bachmann is older than my mother, and way too old to be described as sexy. I find neither Palin nor Bachmann to be sexy at all and at most it could be said that they look decent for their respective ages. Something about Palin really turns me off, she projects a skanky, trailer park vibe kinda like a stripper at a low class biker bar.

Alternatively, we could acknowledge the mentality of millions of our fellow Americans, and instead of a grueling election campaign, have a special TV Show, something like "So You Want to be President?" (or, in view of the potential for seriousness at election time, "Decision '12"). The winning contestant gets to take the oath of office on January 20, 2013 for a four-year term as President. I'm sure Bachmann would be much more of a threat as a candidate if she was competing on a TV game show rather than actually having to go through a campaign.

Bachmann? Sexy? No. Not that I find her particularly attractive, but I'd say Palin is better looking than Bachmann.

Who is sexy is of course a matter of opinion. Not to me, anyway.
