I guess those park rangers were just supposed to stand there and "suck-it-up" when the women were screaming in their faces.

"How could you do this to us, it's our holiday?" a quote from a male muslim who responded after being told at the ENTANCE of the park that head scarves were banned on SOME of the rides!

Excuse me? Doing it to THEM? The rule exists for ALL who would attempt to wear headgear on SOME of the rides. "it's our holiday" oopsy; your holiday should now assume preference over anyone else's holiday who may also show up wearing headgear to be told the same thing?

These PHONY devotees of this PHONY religion of peace designed by a mere MAN to further subjugate women go looking for these situations so they can create a confrontation totally at odds with their so-called peaceful beliefs.

We need to get MORE aggressive with these retarded A-holes and let them know in no uncertain terms "as long as you subscribe to your religion of peace WITHOUT attempting to cause havoc, you are welcome to practice your religion but when you depart from the norms of 'rule of law' as required by our societal underpinnings, all bets are off and you will be treated just as any other law-breaking, convention disturbing, spoiled child".

They should do what every red-blooded American does when they encounter something they don't like........

Sue

But no, they have to act like typical muslims when faced with anything they don't like....

Jump up and down, scream or chant and pray that allah will fix it through jihad......

How ridiculous. Safety rules are put in place for a reason. The park has every right to implement rules for the safety of their patrons. Don't like it? Don't go.

I find it odd that many Muslims can't agree on deciding if wearing a Burka or head covering is mandatory in theyre religion. Then theres the interpretation on what is acceptable "Full body covering", "Full head covering with slit for eyes". One more example of ancient people comtrolling us! This is not just applicable to Islam but all religions.

The religion of making eight year olds dress like nuns so sexist pedophile worshipping Muslim men won't be aroused strikes again. I am not sympathetic to their whining.

It is odd, as far as I know the Koran doesn't say anything about wearing a burqa.

I was refferring to all of the ways ancient religions control moderm man. Whether it a Jew wearing a Yamika or a Mormon wearing strange underwear it all baffles me at why we would follow some ancient superstitous religion.

Best I can find is below, but I'm sure I'm sure it's close. I'm sure there will be some that will say something is lost in translation. To me Islam and all other religions when practiced seriously have little to no place in a modern society.

"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands'' fathers, or their sons or their husbands'' sons, or their brothers or their brothers'' sons or sisters'' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women''s nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed(24-31)

O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allaah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful”

[al-Ahzaab 33:59]"

The article says.... "Three accidents on Playland rides that killed two children and a park worker between 2004 and 2007 were unrelated to clothing the victims were wearing. But the headgear ban was among safety rules that went into effect after those deaths."

Wearing a hijab is no different than wearing a chemo scarf. I wonder if breast cancer victims are also required to remove their "headgear" before going on a ride?

Also, there is no way, even if the "headgear" were caught in the ride or the machinery, that it would cause an injury. So that argument is bogus too. If someones hijab can get "caught" up in the ride, then long hair can as well. Do they forbid women with long hair to ride the rides also?

This is clearly a rule that is biased and based upon a prejudice against Muslims. But the simple solution is that the Islamic community boycott the park.

Yeah, it's a biased rule against Muslims. Where in the world did you learn such foolishness? A cancer patient???? LMAO! Why, YES! They would have to remove whatever they had on too or....wait for it.....wait for it...... DON'T GO ON THE DAMN RIDE! Why do you think it is someone's right to go on a ride? It's not, it's called a privilege that can be revoked at any time for anyone.
