Will this speech be televised? And will it be when the stock market is open? If so, I want a split screen between Obama and the DJI.
Considering its real value, it shouldn't be televised. Not like anything is going to change as a result. Other than the stock market tanking the next morning.
Amazing. The only day/time to tell us about another tax and spend program is on the same day/time of the GOP debate that was planned for months. And to add insult to injury, it has to be a speech before a joint session of congress and not the typical read from a teleprompter speech from some W.H. office.

I'm so tired of his childish political antics. No one can convince me that this isn't anything but a political ploy.
It's like having an 8th grader in the white house.
Obama has set an impossible task for himself: create jobs faster than he destroys them. Memo to the President: It can't be done. You are going to have to stop destroying jobs. Doesn't matter whether you hate private sector jobs or not, the country does not have the means or the intention to have the government employ everybody.
Speaker of the House Boehner should say "NO" to Sept 7.
Yep. Avoiding nationally televised debate would be any republican's smartest move.
