Sounds like a proper response to me. Rocks are deadly weapons so shooting back is appropriate. Too bad the shooter didn't get both of the attackers.

The cross bow shooter needs more practice on the firing range since the injuries are not life threatening.

I does not sound like they found the shooter. I hope they don't.

Stone throwing incidents should decrease when the little thugs realize they can be shot by the people they are attacking. Thrown stones could easily seriously injure or kill a passenger or the driver of the car. The kids left themselves open to defensive return fire when they tossed the rock.

If someone shot my kid for throwing a rock I would shoot and kill them and their family.
