Last year, as Americans across the country grappled with the widespread effects of the Great Recession, tax dodging by corporations and the wealthy cost the average U.S. taxpayer $434, even as corporate profits soared 81 percent. In fact, according to a new report from the Institute for Policy Studies, “corporate tax dodging has gone so out of control that 25 major U.S. corporations last year paid their chief executives more than they paid Uncle Sam in federal income taxes”

Yeah, one of those corporate tax dodgers Tea Party carries is Obama's job czar Jeff Immelt CEO of General Electric.

Well honestly isn't CEO pay determined by the company? If the company doesn't like it they can pay them less, I'm not sure how it's our business.

There are millions of corporations in the US (Statistics of U.S. Businesses- Tabulations by Geography, Industry, and Enterprise Employment Size). I can't get too upset about a number as small as 25 doing anything.

I'd say their CFOs are due for a raise!

Lower rates and close loopholes. I think Obama dangled this out in front the GOP during deficit ceiling talks, but they didn't bite.

This is a load of crap.
Add up all the taxes paid in paychecks to workers, license fees, operational permits, reinvestment back into inventory or equipment. Then add paying off stock holders and the taxes they pay on their payments and it adds up to those companies paying a LOT more than the CEO's salary.
