Oh please. The drama. If you refuse to allow the power company to come onto the property, they will not fight you or force their way onto the property, they'll just shut the power off. Then they will demand payment for the meter you have in your possession. Do you think the meter is the only junction where flow can be interrupted?

You have every right to refuse to purchase their product.

Are people seriously suggesting gunning down workers from the electricity company as a reasonable way to cater to one's paranoid delusions about electromagnetic waves?

I do hope the people who are posting about their health problems aren't using cell phones or wifi enabled computers.

You are in imminent danger if you feel a device is being installed that will give you a fatal disease. It is no different than somebody approaching you with a needle with AIDS tainted blood.
Except your family doctor is going to be far more worried about you being a schizophrenic than getting sick from a smart meter. Seriously, ask any doctor what is more dangerous, a needle tainted with HIV (blood doesn't get tainted with AIDS) or an electric meter on the outside of your house. I'm pretty sure the doctor will have your head examined.
