So why didn't Obama and Democrats remedy this Achilles Heel while they had a Super-Majority? Why would he wait to put so much emphasis on a singular tax policy when he's politically impotent?

Is this guy stupid or what?

Obama could have done whatever he wanted in his first two years. However, he wasted all his time and energy on Obamacare, which will be overturned anyway.

Even Obama realized that tax increases kill jobs and did not have the guts to raise taxes, despite the promise to do so.

They had two years with a full majority.

A full majority is 51% in both houses and they had a lot more than that.

The rules mandating 60%? They are rules and just that. They are not part of the Constitution, they could have been changed, often referred to as "the nuclear option", anytime 51% wanted it so.

If the American people wanted the abortion that ended up being our healthcare bill why didn't democrats simply change the rules and ram it down?

Answer: because huge portions of that communist laden pork bill of garbage had nothing to do with health care.

The only thing that was different back then was Reagan and his ability to move the American people. He had this ability because voters didn't have to wonder if he was on their side or not. The reason Obama does not have this ability is because the voters have come to know him and simply don't trust him.

Why didn't Barack Obama and Democrats pass the Buffett Tax when they had a super-majority?

Is this another example of the failure that Barack Obama is?

Q: What do they call a millionaire after he pays his taxes?

A: A millionaire.

Because that was early on in his term, when he still thought he could get some bipartisan policy agreement.

If he could get Obamacare passed through a rebellious Congress, he could have gotten the Buffett Tax passed. There is no excuse other than this President being a political dirtbag whose only real policy achievement is Epic Demogoguery. His other "achievement" is about to be shut down by the Supreme Court. LOL

why didn't they ram thru amnesty for all illegal aliens, why didn't they repeal all or part of the hated and maligned Boooosh tax cuts, why didn't they do a lot of things that they claim "Republicans" are to blame for????

They owned it all for two years and all they did was a useless, vote-buying stimulus and an unconstitutional ObamaCare... oh yeah, and they stole $500 BILLION out of Medicare.

They forced healthcare over republican objection.Seems a weak point
