What is amazing and sad is that your on the verge of losing your country, and you're worried about triffles such as the level of discourse.
You should be worred about the level of violence that are coming down the Pike - but then you might have your truncheons at-the-ready already.
What's sad is that you don't realize that our discourse, and the lack of intelligence within our discourse, as indicated by all of your posts, is a large reason our country is in so much trouble. Our country is full of people who can't think read, write, or think intelligently, who can't make points without resorting to cliches and idiotic comparisons, who swallow whole the propaganda they see. This board is a wonderful display of all of these things, and the first post is a distillation of the ignorance that makes reasonable discussion on this board virtually impossible.
Does anyone care to explain to him how he is embarrassing himself?
Or do we not want to spoil the fun.
/dance, puppet
"Explain" implies a certain level of successful communication which is not possible given the parties involved. Remember that the OP thinks that everyone on the left is literally mentally insane. Can you really have a conversation with someone so dogmatic that the they believe that anyone who doesn't share their ideology is mentally incompetent? I don't think so.
You have your metaphors a little mixed up. Hitler's brown shirts smashed the trade unions in Germany. He wanted to eliminate any organizations that might oppose fascism. So he crushed the Labor Unions.
A little history for you!!! Since you have been so misinformed...
He didn't outlaw unions, he doubled down on the unions.
In 1933, the Nazis disbanded the Weimar unions.... True!
.... and replaced them with the new and improved union, the German Labor Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF), which was comprised of 2 primary entities, the National Socialist Factory Organization and the National Socialist Trade and Industry Organization. The labor contracts that were Weimar contracts were now DAF-honored contracts. The Nazi’s funded the DAF’s coffers with the Weimar unions’ stockpile of wealth (the existing unions were part of that inflation problem). One of the new unions’ most popular programs was the Strength through Joy (Kraft durch Freude, KdF)) program, which developed the KdF-wagen, that later became the Volkswagen, or People’s Car.
I think that I have already answered the first question adequately. In the present state of affairs I am convinced that we cannot possibly dispense with the trades unions. On the contrary, they are among the most important institutions in the economic life of the nation. Not only are they important in the sphere of social policy but also, and even more so, in the national political sphere. For when the great masses of a nation see their vital needs satisfied through a just trade unionist movement the stamina of the whole nation in its struggle for existence will be enormously reinforced thereby. Before everything else, the trades unions are necessary as building stones for the future economic parliament, which will be made up of chambers representing the various professions and occupations.
Yet another leftist urban myth busted!
