Illegals get credit cards from Bank of America- they never pay into SS....and yet they vote[???]---something is wrong here. I am not voting if they think they can track U.S. 6th generation citizens.

The next time I am in an area that has a BofA I am going to try to open an account and see if they refuse if I do not give them a ss#. Can we say discrimination?!

Most poor people know their social security numbers! If they receive any type of welfare assistance, they definitely know their social security number. The OP didn't say that a SS card was required, just the number on a form. Even so, I believe as someone else already said, social security cards are free anyway.

I'm sure the illegals are providing a social security number. It's just someone else's number.

Eventually the "government" will know who voted how and dispense praise and punishment appropriately. Just wait until a RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) chip will be required to be implanted in everyone's body. It could be designed to keep a log of where you had been and whom you had been with. Any credit card reader you ever used could interrogate these devices and report to your local Deacon if you had been naughty or nice. .

Yes, most of us know the card is free- that isnt the point...I guess as they sent back my registration form highlighting I MUST fill dob and SS# I can just make it up? To me its not their business, if they are collecting data.

Sorry Greg, but there's only so much the government will force me to do. I'll pay my share of taxes and contribute to society, but I'll jump off a cliff before the government inserts ANYTHING into my body in the name of "security."

I find a problem with this - they did not ask for this a few years ago, we know they keep info on a database...I really dont want to fill that out. When did this change?

It all changed after 911, another major change is that they will only accept state issued birth certificates and not the hospital issued ones when applying for a job. My 14 year old son wanted a summer job so we had to send the $65 that North Carolina demanded to have them over night the original.

you totally lost me there.. Most of the time I was in the military I was a Michigan resident and have only been a Texas resident for a few years. Is there an issue I'm not aware of? and you totally lost me on the second half.. I think I know what you're saying, but am not sure. Plenty of US citizens live in other countries, mostly for financial reasons and are still allowed to vote.

I needed my SS card, passport and birth certificate to get my current job.. It's some new DHS thing, but I'm all for it.
zero chance of an illegal alien working where I work though
