So now the hardened criminals are off the streets of KY. I guess it was easier to put these threats to society in jail than all the meth producers in LBL KY.

Wrong county, but I get your point. At least one of the men had someone pay the fine for him.

They should have wrapped towels around their heads and muttered Allah-Akbar. No one in LE would have bothered with them then.

From the OP link..the government has nothing better to do than this ?

"The men, who belong to the strict Old Order Swartzentruber Amish sect, object to the triangles because the bright color violates their modesty code. They say paying the fines would amount to complying with a law they believe violates their religious morals"

Six foot seven! Wow! Must not be the result of the usual Amish incest system.

Sorry to see a county that bends over for these freaks.....

If they have to have bright orange signs on their vehicles why can't they wear bright orange prison uniforms ????????

No, religion isn't stupid....

Some of these guys need to revolt, at least when it comes to haircuts and beards. I wonder where it says a blind person or a 3 year old has to cut their hair.

They are in jail because they refused to put the bright orange signs on their buggies. Does the word "plain" mean anything to you when connected to the Amish?

How modest is your mugshot posted on the internet? Anyway, they're on a public highway and they refuse to abide by the law, or pay the subsequent fines. Can I refuse to drive with my headlights on at night? Naw, sounds like jail time to me.
