Congressman Issa Facing Ethics Charge From Soros Group

Quote:
The liberal advocacy group American Family Voices has announced its intention to file an ethics violation complaint against Congressman Issa. The complaint alleges the Mr. Issa has utilized his position in Congress to enhance his own personal wealth and influence.

...
Issa’s office has already fired back against the ethics charge, indicating it is being orchestrated by the White House to discredit those who have raised concerns against the Obama administration.

...
It should be noted that one of the primary financial backers for American Family Voices is George Soros – a strong supporter of President Barack Obama.
The actual letter is here.

Pace yourself folks - it going to be a long 14 months.

Edited:

Is this one of those phoney liberal websites like the Onion? If so I take back my rep. to you.

I read through that website a little further and it appears they post things that are not legit.

George Soros, a huge anti-gun guy on the world stage is actually fighting those in Congress investigating illegal gun traffiking. It would almost seem as though Soros wanted the illegal gun traffiking to succeed and to have never been discovered. Wonder why? Could he have ties to the Mexican drug catels too?
If money is involved George Soros is definitely interested. He is a hoarder of wealth by any means.

For further reference - Mike Lux is the author of the letter detailing the charges. His profile is here.

And we know who is going to pay for every bit of it too. I am surely glad that Soros isn't in the House.

if soros is going to charge issa with that kind of ethics violation, then he needs to charge the other 534 members of congress, as well as all the appointed positions in obama administration, especially the czars, and every former member of congress and every presidential administration for a few generations then.

For those interested, another source:

"The five-page complaint, which was obtained by The Hill, accuses Issa of using his position as chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to add to his multimillion-dollar fortune.
...
The complaint alleges that Issa pressured the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to halt an investigation of Goldman Sachs shortly after he bought a huge stake in one of Goldman’s high-yield mutual funds.

It also claims Issa used his authority to improperly defend Merrill Lynch, a firm with “which he has a significant financial interest,” the document states."

I know, I know. It's a witch-hunt.
