Michelle Bachmann is pushing the claim that the HPV vaccine causes mental retardation, which study of the HPV vaccine did she cite as her source for making that claim?
Perhaps it's a freudian slip, many things associated with Perry are considered retarded.
She shouldn't have said it caused mental retardation. That is not the correct medical term. She should have said that parents have told her their daughters appeared to have an adverse reaction to Gardasil which resulted in neurological damage.
She talked about the vaccine and then said that someone become mentally retarded after the shot. If she wasn't claiming that the vaccine caused mental retardation, then why did she bring it up?
Because as you will read in post #2 she was relating what a concerned mother told her about her own daughter's experience.
Bachmann relating a conversation she had with a concerned parent is not the same as claiming the vaccine causes mental retardation.

Spin, spin, spin...........
Then why did she bring it up? I'm sure she didn't mean to tie the two together? LOL. Republicans are literally incapable of admitting when someone in their party says something stupid.
